Steps to follow:

Ensure your frying pan is clean and ready, then place it on the burner. Start by melting the butter, ensure your burner is on high heat. 

After the butter melts, add the canned oysters, then add the cream and the Worcestershire sauce. Reduce to medium heat and gently start stirring the oysters till they curl.

First things first, start by preheating your oven to about 350 degrees.

Depending on the number of people you are preparing the meal to, take a frying pan, add a little oil and start crisping the bacon. When the bacon is cooked, drain the oil and set them aside.

Take another saucepan, place it on the burner and start melting the butter, after the butter has purely melted, add the onions, celery, a little garlic and some bay leaves.

Add to the mixture, the horseradish, the chicken stock and a cup of the white wine. Cook the mixture while stirring for about another 3 to 5 minutes.

On the side, take a casserole dish and place the cubed bread

  • Half and half cream
  • Butter crackers
  • Butter

Before you start with the preparation of the ingredients, start by preheating the oven to 325 degrees.

Take the butter and grease your casserole dish in preparation to the baking.

Take a different casserole dish and place the crushed butter crackers. Take the drained oyster and place a layer of the crushed butter crackers on top of it.

Keep placing the crushed butter layers on top of the drained Oysters till all is finished. Take your cracker crumbs and add the final layer on top.

Open your half and half cream and start drizzling it on top of the layered oyster. Take your pieces of butter and add on top of the layered and drizzled oyster. It’s time to add all the spices you wish, to make it tasty, also add a pinch of paprika and salt. Finally, ensure you cover the casserole dish and set it aside to stand for an hour or so.

This recipe is not hard to prepare and make and it takes a short while for it to be ready.

  • Cans of Oysters
  • Butter chopped onions
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Milk
  • Chopped Celery
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Other preferred spices
  • Saucepan
  • Stirring spoon

Steps to follow:

Take the saucepan and place it on the burner and place to a medium heat.

Add the canned oysters, stir till the edges start to curl.

Then add the milk, Worcestershire Sauce, Chopped onions, Chopped Celery, salt, pepper and other preferred spices. Slowly stir the mixture and turn the burner onto low heat.
